My athlete is 12 and a very highly skilled lacrosse player. I have been talking to our coach and think he/she is making a huge mistake by not letting my son/daughter play up at the 14u level this coming season. My son/daughter is equally capable with either hand, shoots the ball accurately, and can dodge around almost every defender he/she plays against. Can you please help me convince our coach that playing up is the best choice for my child and will help him/her reach the next level?

He emphasized how important it was to learn not only from our own mistakes, but from others’ as well… all very good stuff. Make sure you sneak a copy of it into Junior’s laundry basket as he packs up the car this week.
