1. To help promote the sport of lacrosse by sharing links to lax news stories and articles on the internet, especially those that might not be easily found by lacrosse fans.

2. To provide an outlet for school news and event announcements, especially NY Section 3, as well as announcememnts from other lacrosse organizations.

3. To compile a database of links to both official and unofficial fan lacrosse sites for high schools throughout the country, as well as links to the fairly extensive databases established at several of the larger lacrosse websites.

LaxPower.com can't be beat for their statistical and analysis pages for practically every high school team in the country. e-Lacrosse.com has a large listing of high school sites, as does LaxLinks. For information on teams from the Maryland/DC/Virginia area, The Washington Post Online is a very good source, and Newsday.com and LongIslandLacrosse.com cover the Long Island high school lacrosse scene.

Therefore, we intend to concentrate our efforts to finding as many pages for Section 3 teams, as well as other upstate teams, as we can. We ask for your help in finding up to date links to both official team sites as well as fan sites for upstate teams.
